This seamed eight-sided sterling silver snake chain is a slender, elegant foundation in bright white metal. Pair it with small pendants and drops in any design style. This chain is plated with fine silver to ensure a bright white color and to help protect against tarnish.

Seamed snake chain is created with soldered, machine-made curb-style chain that is compressed twice, producing the snake-like appearance and leaving behind a telltale seam visible along its length.

Maintenance & Safety

• Fine chain is delicate and should be treated with due care to help prevent breakage.
• Because this chain is plated, we strongly recommend that it not be subjected to soldering. The plating may burn off, leaving the finish discolored and requiring you to re-plate the chain.
• This product is not intended to be used in the manufacturing of jewelry for children aged 12 or younger.
• IMPORTANT: Sterling silver is an alloy containing metals that react with chemicals found in air and produce tarnish; high moisture levels, exposure to sunlight and contaminants such as salt water increase this reaction. Take steps to protect sterling silver by keeping it in airtight packages, use tarnish-resistant products (such as tarnish tabs or strips) that absorb harmful chemicals, and store sterling in a cool, dry place. Most tarnish is easily removed by polishing with a mild abrasive or soaking in an anti-tarnish solution.
