These specimens are calcite after aurichalcite from the Ojuela mine in Durango, Mexico. The first growth of beautiful turquoise blue is an oxidized copper and zinc (aurichalcite). The second growth of minerals are glassy rhombohedral calcites, all on a beautiful goethite matrix
