Creating these bismuth pieces involves melting pure bismuth at temperatures exceeding 520°F (271°C). As the molten bismuth cools, it is carefully controlled to form the unique crystalline structures that give bismuth its signature geometric patterns and rainbow-like iridescence. This precise cooling process is what makes each crystallized bismuth formation a unique and scientifically fascinating piece of art.
