Jade puzzle balls are a good luck charm that are decorated with symbolic figures and are in the shape of an eternal circle. They are made up of a number of intricately carved concentric hollow spheres that fit within one another.
Chinese puzzle balls are often made from 3–7 layers of material, with the outer layers being the most intricately carved. They are often carved from the same piece of material, with each sphere rotating freely. The long and meticulous process of crafting these balls is only completed by highly skilled craftsmen.
